Old Fashioned Growing.

We’re based on 12 acres of old colliery land here in Wales, where we’ve set about turning the ground back into something alive and abundant. Over the years we’ve planted, tended, and experimented, and now the place hums with a mix of orchards, vegetable beds, vines, and wild corners left for the bees.
Everything we grow is organic, guided by permaculture principles so the land gets healthier as we work with it. Grapes become wine, apples become cider vinegar and juice, and the bees and chickens do their bit to keep things thriving (and keep us supplied with honey and eggs).
It’s a patchwork of food, drink, and wildlife — small-scale, hands-on, and rooted in the idea that farming should give back as much as it takes.

Orchard
Our orchards are home to an ever-expanding mix of fruit — from apples, cherries, and grapes to more unusual favourites like goumi and autumn olive. We plant on full-size rootstocks, so the trees can stretch out and live long, healthy lives, creating shelter for wildlife as they produce basket after basket of fruit. Variety is what keeps it all interesting: over a hundred cultivars grow side by side here, with new additions each year.

Market Garden
The beating heart of Ogi Farm is our market garden. What was once a patch of tired, sloping land is now a thriving no-dig garden that overflows with organic vegetables. Season after season it gives us a rich harvest of fresh food, grown in a way that builds soil, welcomes wildlife, and keeps the land in balance.

Our Plants
We like to share a little of Ogi Farm with others, so we propagate and sell plants from the wide collection we’ve gathered here. Fruiting shrubs, ornamental roses, and plenty more — all raised from start to finish on the farm, and only ever sold once they’re strong, healthy, and ready to thrive in a new home.
