What We Offer
Our Journey
Ogi Farm was started with a simple idea - to produce healthy, organic food for our local community in a way which builds up our soil and surrounding environment, rather than degrading it.
Our twelve or so acres of former colliery land has historically been used to graze horses or sheep after the mines closed, with the topsoil growing thin compacted and large waterlogged areas turning thick with rushes.
Over the past few years we've worked hard to improve this, slowly yet surely, planting out the land with Orchards, Vineyards, a Market Garden and much more. We're clearing bracken & wheelbarrowing in tons of woodchip and compost, and always thinking of what's next for our small but increasingly productive and diverse strip of land.
